I absolutely love going to Union Park on the weekends. I'd go any Fri or Sat rather then going to dirty 6th. I spend most of my time upstairs on the terrace, its always chill and you can just relax, grab a drink and talk to your friends w/o yelling on top of your lungs. They play a nice mix of music anywhere from re-mixed 80's and 90's songs to what's hot today. Def check it out :) (almost 3 years ago)

Union Park is a pretty great place to hang out on the weekend.... it's more upscale than the bars over on the "dirty" side of 6th street, and draws a very attractive crowd of young professionals. I have been here a couple of times and was impressed each time with the quality of the place; the upstairs has a nice outdoor area and the staff is great... but it does get pretty full. Union Park is an outstanding venue. The staff is awesome, there are great people everywhere and it's very cool. Some of the hottest girls in Austin are found at Union Park when the sun goes down. from the upstairs patio you can take in a very soothing view of the austin skyline. this is one of the more popular places on west 6th, and i think it's because it's very consistent.
one of my friends complained that there was a long line outside of this place. yeah, i'll give him that, if you show up after 12:30 chances are the line will have grown a bit. get here around 11!
bottom line: give union park a try!! (about 3 years ago)

I heard some good things about this place and everyone one of them was true. Union Park is firing on all cylinders. You have good music, great priced drinks, good people (hot girls), and good ambiance. I think Union Park is the start of a great trend on W. 6th. Union Park has so much to offer and has an upscale feel w/o all the stuck up pretentious people you would think to find at a similar place. Check this place out! (over 3 years ago)
