Michael says:

I went here to See Armin van Buuren. The venue is actually a converted movie theater from the 1920s, which is pretty cool. It has an ornate domed ceiling which added an interesting touch. All the seats have been removed and the floor is bare concrete. Also, because this formerly was a ?movie palace?, the floor slopes downward toward the stage. The incline was a little bothersome since I was seeing a DJ set, and uneven floors are not conducive to dancing. There is also a balcony which still has seats where you can go if you feel like sitting or just seeing the act from a different perspective. The sound system is pretty amazing here, as my chest cavity was vibrating all night. All in all, an interesting venue with character, seperating it from the typical warehouse-type scene.
