There is a great little activism bookstore at the front and the waitstaff is very hippie-like. Music's normal and in the back there's a stage where many activities are held, such as poetry readings, poetry slams, open mic night, and rapper's delight.

...and it has the most amazing banana bread pudding a la mode. the service is superb, the food scrumptious, and an eccentric yet comforting ambiance. writing about this makes me want to go back, now. (almost 4 years ago)
