The happy hour specials at this place are off the hook. The drink specials are great, and the half price appetizers are even better. You definitely need to try the Caprese Burgers if you go. 219 West is one of those downtown Austin gems. The food and drinks are both really high quality, you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is a tiny bit trendy, but don't let that stop you - I've seen plenty of people in there not dressed to impress (but be reasonable - it's not a dive). Going during happy hour is the best deal - half off most drinks and tapas. The mini burgers are awesome, and there is a lot of variety in the menu. This place is great whether you're treating it as a full blown restaurant, or just getting your bar-hopping night started here. (almost 4 years ago)
